Position Overview:

We’re looking for a talented and driven Content Creator to join our team! This role requires a passionate storyteller with a deep interest in climate tech, a sharp editorial eye, and the ability to translate complex industry trends into engaging, digestible content. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with experience in digital content creation, an understanding of our target audience, and a flair for creating compelling narratives that resonate with investors, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders in the climate tech ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation

• Develop and produce high-quality content across various formats, including articles, blog posts, newsletters, interviews, case studies, and social media posts.
• Research and translate complex climate tech topics into clear, insightful, and engaging narratives that cater to our audience's diverse interests.
• Write and edit content for ClimateTechReview’s website, social media channels, and newsletters, ensuring all materials align with brand voice and editorial standards.

Industry Research & Analysis

• Stay updated on industry news, emerging technologies, investment trends, and key players in the climate tech space.
• Conduct interviews with climate tech thought leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs to deliver insightful and original perspectives to our audience.
• Collaborate with the editorial team to identify trending topics and create timely, relevant content that provides value to our community.

Audience Engagement

• Manage and grow ClimateTechReview’s online presence through social media platforms by publishing regular posts, engaging with followers, and fostering discussions on climate tech topics.
• Monitor audience feedback and analytics to refine content strategies and increase engagement.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content that supports growth initiatives, including subscriber acquisition and community engagement efforts.

SEO and Content Optimization

• Implement SEO best practices to improve visibility and search ranking for content.
• Work with the analytics team to monitor content performance and make data-driven adjustments to enhance reach and engagement.
• Optimize content for AI-driven tools and features to maximize user engagement and reader satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Environmental Science, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in content creation, journalism, or digital marketing, ideally within climate tech, sustainability, or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of climate tech trends, emerging technologies, and the investor/entrepreneur ecosystem.
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to produce content that is both informative and engaging.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and content analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, or equivalent).
• Experience with social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram, and familiarity with community engagement strategies.
• Basic understanding of AI tools for content creation or interest in learning.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience conducting interviews with subject matter experts or creating multimedia content (e.g., videos, podcasts).
• Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress, and design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of data-driven storytelling and basic analytics for content performance evaluation.
• Passion for climate tech and sustainability, with a keen interest in innovation and emerging technologies.
