That’s basically the PUCKIPUPPY Labrador Pro.
This is a 26-inch fat-tire electric bike built around a 750W rear hub motor, a large 48V 20Ah removable battery, full suspension, hydraulic disc brakes, and a claimed range of up to 80 miles.
It’s not particularly small. It’s not trying to be minimalist.
It’s basically the SUV approach to an electric bicycle.
And depending on how you plan to ride, that might be exactly what you want.

Let’s Talk About That 1350W Number
The headline specification is 1350W.
But there’s an important distinction here.
The Labrador Pro uses a 750W brushless rear hub motor capable of reaching a claimed 1350W peak output.
Those aren’t the same measurement.
The 750W figure is the more representative motor rating, while 1350W describes the maximum output the system can reach under certain conditions.
And honestly, 750W is already plenty of motor for an e-bike like this.
PUCKIPUPPY also claims 85Nm of torque, which should help when accelerating, climbing hills, or moving a heavier bike and rider from a standstill.
The manufacturer advertises climbing capability of up to 40 degrees, although I’d treat that as an ideal-condition claim rather than something every rider should expect to replicate.
Gradient, surface conditions, rider weight, battery charge, tire pressure, and momentum can all dramatically change climbing performance.
Up to 28 MPH
In pedal-assist mode, the Labrador Pro is rated for speeds of up to 28 mph, or roughly 45 km/h.
Using the throttle alone, that figure drops to a claimed 20 mph, or approximately 32 km/h.
That’s pretty quick.
At 28 mph, this stops feeling like a slightly faster bicycle and starts feeling like a proper personal electric vehicle.
Which also means brakes, tires, suspension, and protective equipment become increasingly important.
The actual legality of different speeds, throttle operation, and motor ratings varies by jurisdiction, so it’s worth checking your local e-bike regulations before riding on public roads or cycling infrastructure.
But from a hardware perspective, the Labrador Pro clearly isn’t designed only for leisurely rides around the neighborhood.
The Torque Sensor Is a Big Deal
This might actually be my favorite specification on the entire bike.
The Labrador Pro uses a torque sensor.
Cheaper electric bikes commonly use cadence sensors. Those basically detect that you’re pedaling and then tell the motor to provide a predefined amount of assistance.
It works.
But it can sometimes feel like an on/off switch.
A torque sensor is smarter.
It measures how much force you’re applying to the pedals and adjusts the motor assistance accordingly.
Pedal gently and you get less assistance.
Push harder and the motor responds with more power.
The result should feel significantly more natural, almost like your legs suddenly became much stronger.
PUCKIPUPPY makes some very specific claims about reduced pedaling effort, knee load, and climbing efficiency. Those are manufacturer claims and shouldn’t be interpreted as guaranteed outcomes for every rider.
But the underlying advantage of torque sensing is real.
For an e-bike positioned above entry level, it’s exactly the kind of feature I want to see.
48V, 20Ah Means a Pretty Big Battery
Powering everything is a 48V 20Ah removable battery.
Do the math and you’re looking at approximately:
48V Ă— 20Ah = 960Wh
That’s a substantial battery for an electric bicycle.
And it needs to be.
The Labrador Pro has a powerful motor, wide fat tires, suspension, and presumably a fairly substantial overall weight. All of those things can increase energy consumption compared with a lightweight commuter e-bike.
PUCKIPUPPY claims somewhere between 40 and 80 miles of range, depending on conditions.
That’s approximately 64 to 129 kilometers.
The upper end is impressive, but I’d definitely treat 80 miles as a best-case figure.
Real-world range depends heavily on your assistance level, throttle use, speed, terrain, hills, temperature, rider weight, cargo, tire pressure, and even wind.
If you’re riding aggressively and using a lot of motor assistance, don’t expect the maximum number.
But having nearly 1kWh of battery capacity gives the Labrador Pro a pretty solid foundation for longer rides.
And the Battery Is Removable
The battery is integrated into the frame but can be removed for charging.
That’s important.
If you live in an apartment or store your bike somewhere without convenient access to electricity, you can bring the battery indoors instead of moving the entire bike.
It also gives you more flexibility for battery storage.
The included 54V 2A charger is rated to recharge the battery in approximately 6 to 8 hours.
That’s not particularly fast by consumer electronics standards.
But remember, we’re dealing with a battery approaching 1kWh.
This isn’t your smartphone.
Plug it in overnight and you’re basically ready for another ride the next day.
26 x 4-Inch Fat Tires
And then we get to the part you absolutely cannot miss.
Those tires.
The Labrador Pro uses 26 x 4-inch fat tires.
They’re huge.
Fat tires increase the contact patch with the ground and can provide better traction on loose surfaces like gravel, sand, dirt, and some trails.
They can also absorb smaller surface imperfections simply because there’s so much air volume inside the tire.
There are trade-offs.
Fat tires tend to be heavier and can create more rolling resistance than narrower bicycle tires.
But this isn’t supposed to be an ultralight road bike.
The Labrador Pro is clearly going for versatility and stability.
And aesthetically, those giant tires are a huge part of the bike’s identity.
Full Suspension Makes Sense Here
The Labrador Pro also gets full suspension, including PUCKIPUPPY’s distinctive transverse or lateral rear suspension setup.
Pair that with the high-volume fat tires and you’ve got multiple layers of impact absorption between the road and the rider.
That should make a noticeable difference on broken pavement, gravel roads, trails, and other uneven surfaces.
It also makes the Labrador Pro considerably more versatile.
You could use it for commuting during the week and then take it somewhere considerably rougher on the weekend.
That’s basically the whole pitch.
One bike for a little bit of everything.
Hydraulic Disc Brakes Are Exactly What I Want
If you’re building a heavy electric bicycle capable of reaching 28 mph, good brakes aren’t optional.
Thankfully, the Labrador Pro comes with hydraulic disc brakes using 180mm rotors.
That’s another feature I like seeing here.
Hydraulic brakes generally provide stronger, more consistent braking performance with better modulation than basic mechanical disc brakes.
And on a bike this large and potentially this fast, that’s important.
Speed specifications sell bikes.
Stopping them matters more.
There’s Also an 8-Speed Drivetrain
This is still a bicycle.
So when you’re not relying entirely on the motor, you have an 8-speed mechanical drivetrain to work with.
That gives you more flexibility for hills, cruising, and riding at different speeds.
Combine that with the torque sensor and the Labrador Pro should feel more like an electrically amplified bicycle than a small electric motorcycle with decorative pedals.
That’s an important distinction.
There are plenty of powerful e-bikes where pedaling feels almost secondary.
The torque sensor and multi-speed drivetrain suggest PUCKIPUPPY still wants the actual cycling experience to matter.
The Accessory Bundle Is Surprisingly Complete
Here’s another nice touch.
PUCKIPUPPY includes quite a lot of accessories with the bike.
You get an air pump, lock, rear rack, fenders, phone mount, bottle holder, bike cover, and rearview mirrors.
That’s actually useful.
E-bike pricing can be deceptive because you buy the bike and then realize you still need another hundred dollars or more worth of accessories.
A rear rack alone makes the Labrador Pro significantly more practical for commuting or carrying cargo.
The fenders are useful if you’re riding in wet conditions.
The mirrors make sense considering the speeds this thing can reach.
And everyone eventually buys a phone mount anyway.
Having all of that included makes the package feel much more complete out of the box.
85 Percent Pre-Assembled
The Labrador Pro arrives approximately 85 percent assembled, according to PUCKIPUPPY.
So this isn’t literally open the box and start riding.
There will still be some setup required.
If you’re comfortable doing basic bicycle assembly, that might not be a problem. But if you’ve never worked on a bike before, having a professional inspect the final assembly is worth considering.
That’s especially true for something capable of 28 mph.
You want the handlebars, wheels, brakes, pedals, and other critical components installed and adjusted correctly before heading out.
This Is Not a Lightweight City Bike
There’s something worth understanding before buying the Labrador Pro.
This is not trying to disappear underneath you.
The battery is large.
The tires are huge.
There’s a rear hub motor.
There’s full suspension.
There’s a rack.
There are fenders.
There’s a substantial frame holding everything together.
So if your daily routine involves carrying your bike up three flights of stairs, you might want something smaller and lighter.
But if you’re storing it in a garage and want something capable of handling pavement, trails, hills, gravel, and longer recreational rides, the extra hardware starts making much more sense.
Different tools for different jobs.
Who Is the Labrador Pro For?
I think there are three types of riders who will find this particularly interesting.
First, someone who wants one e-bike for multiple environments.
You can commute on pavement, explore trails, tackle rougher roads, and go on longer weekend rides without owning multiple bikes.
Second, someone who prioritizes comfort.
You’ve got fat pneumatic tires, front suspension, rear suspension, and electric assistance.
That’s a lot working in your favor.
And third, someone who wants serious electric assistance without giving up the feeling of actually riding a bicycle.
That’s where the torque sensor becomes especially important.
You still pedal.
The bike just makes you feel considerably stronger.
What I Like
The specification sheet is surprisingly well rounded.
The 750W motor with up to 1350W peak output gives you plenty of power.
The 48V 20Ah battery provides substantial energy capacity.
The torque sensor should make pedal assistance feel more natural.
The 26 x 4-inch tires and full suspension make sense for mixed terrain.
And the hydraulic disc brakes are appropriate for a bike with this much speed and weight.
Then you add the accessory package.
There’s not an obvious major feature missing.
And that’s probably the Labrador Pro’s biggest strength.
It’s not exceptional because of one ridiculous specification.
It’s compelling because almost every major component seems appropriate for what the bike is trying to do.
A Few Things to Consider
There are still some caveats.
The claimed 80-mile maximum range should be treated as an ideal scenario. Heavy throttle use, higher speeds, hills, cold temperatures, and heavier riders can substantially reduce range.
The claimed 40-degree climbing capability is also a manufacturer specification rather than something I’d assume is achievable under every real-world condition.
The fat tires and full-suspension hardware will likely make this considerably heavier and bulkier than a traditional bicycle.
And depending on where you live, the motor power, throttle functionality, and 28 mph assisted speed may affect how the bike is legally classified and where it can be ridden.
Check the rules before buying if public-road use is important to you.
The Bottom Line
The PUCKIPUPPY Labrador Pro feels like the SUV of electric bicycles.
It’s big.
It’s powerful.
It’s comfortable.
And it’s designed to handle considerably more than perfectly smooth pavement.
You get a 750W rear hub motor with up to 1350W peak power, 85Nm of claimed torque, a 48V 20Ah removable battery, up to 28 mph pedal-assisted speed, full suspension, 26 x 4-inch fat tires, hydraulic disc brakes, an 8-speed drivetrain, and most importantly, a torque sensor.
The torque sensor might actually be what separates this from the endless selection of powerful fat-tire e-bikes online.
Because adding more power is easy.
Making that power feel natural when you’re actually pedaling is much more interesting.
If you want something lightweight that you can carry onto a train every morning, look elsewhere.
